What
is Blaq?
Blaq is a web application created and hosted by
Multimatics. Whilst Blaq has many different features,
its
main function is managing the jobs in your company. Through
its different modules, it gives you
complete control over the
current jobs in your company. From the initial stages of quoting your
client through to running the job and finally invoicing - Blaq can do
it all. Being a multi-user system, other users can be given the ability
to view all the current work in progress, and many of the features such
as Contacts lists can be shared between users.
What's
a
web application?
It's basically software which is accessed through a
web browser over the internet. Popular web applications include
Google's Gmail and Microsoft's Hotmail. Blaq works in a similar way to
typical software installed on your
computer, except that it is run solely through a web browser,
such as Internet Explorer or Safari. The other main difference is your
data is stored safely and securely on the Blaq servers.
Who
uses Blaq?
Being a very flexible Job based system, it's suitable for a wide
variety of service based industries. Our clients come from industries
such as printing, graphic design and I.T. support. Our clients
also vary greatly in size. Because of the way we setup and run Blaq,
you could be a sole trader or you could have hundreds of employees.
Blaq will suit you no matter how big or small your company is.
